About Parker Franklin
I believe taxpayers deserve more than a completed return — they deserve to understand their taxes and how their decisions impact their business and financial future.
As an Enrolled Agent licensed by the U.S. Treasury, I work with individuals and small business owners to provide clear, accurate tax preparation and year-round guidance. With years of experience helping taxpayers, my focus is on reducing tax liability where legally possible, preventing costly mistakes, and making sure clients understand their tax requirements so they can make informed decisions.
My approach starts with listening. Before explaining anything, I take the time to understand how a client currently views taxes, then bridge the gap in plain language — explaining only what they need to know and why it matters. Many clients come to me after saying, “My last tax person never explained that to me,” or “I didn’t know I could do that.” My goal is to replace confusion with clarity.
I’m especially focused on preventing the most common and avoidable issues I see each year, including missed expenses, unpaid estimated taxes, and a lack of proactive year-end planning. These problems often lead to overpaying the IRS and unnecessary stress — outcomes that can be avoided with the right guidance.
As a boutique, one-on-one practice, every client works directly with me. This allows me to provide thoughtful planning, responsive support, and IRS representation when needed, while helping clients move from reacting to tax problems to planning ahead with confidence.
If you’re looking for a tax professional who explains your options, advocates for your best interests, and helps you run your business from an educated position, I’d be glad to help.

Unlimited IRS representation rights
EA
An EA holds unlimited authority to represent any taxpayer before the IRS — audits, appeals, collections, and compliance disputes — without restriction by tax year, return type, or issue.
Enrolled Agent. The only federally issued tax credential — granted by the U.S. Treasury, not a state board.
CPAs and attorneys represent clients in tax matters; an EA's entire practice authority is defined by federal tax law. That specificity matters when an IRS notice arrives.
